AQUAPONICS

As the name itself explain this system, this is a semi-closed recirculating system which combines aquaculture with hydroponics. The fishes are reared in a tank and the water in which the fishes live are recirculated through the hydroponics growbed which are filled with high porous materials and plants. Beneficial bacteria grows on the growbed and it converts the fish excreta into rich manure which is used by the plants for its growth. Aquaponics is a good solution for the combined fish and vegetable cultivation in urban areas. This system is controlled by IoT based cloud server system.
